    As for all the probiotics, the use of Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii in patients in fragile health conditions (such as high-risk immune-compromised individuals, critically sick infants, pre- term infants...), as well as in patients with a central venous catheter in place, is contraindicated.
