    Storage and Shelf Life Conditions

This product has an expiration date of 2 (+) years based on storage in sealed unopened drums at room temperature (approx. 68º F) under a nitrogen blanket. Avoid exposure to air, light and heat. If this product is packaged in pails, it has a 1 year (+) shelf life under the same conditions, as pails are not nitrogen blanketed. Once the drums or pails have been opened, the shelf life will depend on how you handle the material. For instance, if you re-blanket or add nitrogen each time the oil is used, you will be able to keep it for the full shelf life. If the oil is not blanketed with nitrogen after opening, you should use the oil within 3 months. It is important to keep air away at all times to maintain stability.
