TECHNOMELT® 279A is a hot melt adhesive, available in pellet form with an amber color, that is versatile for various applications. It excels in carton sealing, particularly on challenging surfaces, high-performance straw attachment, acrylic-coated OPP, and carton sealing products. It is compatible with conventional hot melt roll and nozzle applications.

    TECHNOMELT® 279A is a food packaging hot melt adhesive for case, carton, and tray formation and also used for straw attachment applications.

    Working Temperature
    • Recommended working temperature: 325 to 375 °F. The recommended application temperature is 350°F, however the specific application requirements may require customization.
    • It is not recommended to go beyond the running temperature range. Bond quality and processing can be affected by application temperature.

    Environmental Impact

    This product as supplied, is not considered to be hazardous or to be an environmental contaminant. Unwanted product may usually be disposed of safely into municipal solid waste streams. However to reduce impact on landfill sites, every effort should be made to use unwanted product for its original or for similar end use. Where recycling facilities exist, corrugated cardboard and polyethylene liners for hot melt packaging should be recycled.
