CARBON BLACK N326 (N) is a reinforcing carbon black and has the lowest structure of the ASTM N300 carbon black series with a relatively high surface area similar to that of N330, making it suitable for rubber products that need high tear strength, low viscosity, and long scorch times. Its low structure makes it an ideal substitute for acidic channel blacks. It is used in tire casing, mountain tire treads, and solid industrial tires. CARBON BLACK N660 (N) is a semi-reinforcing carbon black of medium particle size. It has colloidal properties that lead to moderate rubber reinforcement and low hysteretic properties.
