It is a distilled product of greater than 99.5% purity and is a mixture of three isomeric chemical compounds. It is a waterless, white, clear, odorless, hygroscopic liquid with low volatility. It is used as a reactive intermediate in the manufacturing of industrial high-performance unsaturated polyester resins, polyurethanes, and plasticizers.
