LOCTITE LIOFOL HS 4305 is suggested for evaluation as a heat seal coating for blister packaging applications providing a viable alternative to solventbased systems, resulting in zero solvent VOC emissions and a “green” technology. LOCTITE LIOFOL HS 4305 was specifically formulated for use with RPET and PVC blisters. This system may also prove functional for PETG, cold formed, and narrow flanged blisters. However, proper testing and evaluation of seals and aged performance is required to ensure functionality.

    Properties

    Note

In laminations, exact heat sealing conditions will vary according to the type and gage of plastic film or base stock, depending on whether sealing is direct (through the film) or indirect (through paper).

1Bond interface temperature is the temperature required at the sealing area between the film and the base stock. These seal conditions are only suggested as a starting point. All bonds should be thoroughly tested.
