Libramul IPA is an anionic surfactant and as such is compatible with other anionic and nonionic surfactants. Due to its solubility characteristics it finds applications as an emulsifier for oils and greases in solvent based systems. Libramul IPA is an amine salt and functions as an emulsifying agent for organic solvents, waxes, mineral oils and is especially suitable for the manufacture of emulsion degreasers and kerosene based hand cleaning gels.
