ESTISURF M39 has been developed for production of micro emulsionswith hydrocarbon solvents.
Starting formulations in % w/w:A B ESTISURF M39 30 23 D80 20 - White spirit / 14% aromatics - 20 C₉ - C₁₁ +8EO - 3 Sequestering Agent 3 3 Water 47 51 (*): C9-C11 fatty alcohol + 8EO, HLB = 13.9, can be substituted by other fatty alcohol ethoxylates with similar HLB values. Tests to verify emulsion stability must be performed.
(**): Trilon M (BASF) or Baypure CX100 (Lanxess) are typically applied.
All formulations are stable at 5, 20 and 40 ºC.- Recommended Applications
